I recorded this live video today at Kensal Green Cemetery, and something went very wrong with the sound — sorry — but I’m posting it anyway because I think it’s kind of weirdly interesting?
If you listen very carefully you can hear murky bits of my voice coming through and every so often there’s a discernible noise from the real world, like the cry of a magpie or the wail of a siren on the road.
But mostly it’s just this… vaguely human burble. Sorry to get all Lincoln in the Bardo meets Blair Witch, but to me it sounds like the background noise of people chattering at a cocktail party.
I can’t explain it. It wasn’t windy and I’ve done lots of video there before. Strong signal. I run in Kensal Green pretty much everyday and have done for a decade and I’ve never felt a whiff of a ‘presence,’ plus I don’t believe in ghosts. For the record.
But then there’s the transcript. This is what really made my blood run cold because a) it’s totally cryptic and b) bears no resemblance to the video whatsoever. Not the real un-recorded real sound or the murky inexplicable burble.
I’ve pasted it below for your review. If there are any paranormalists out there, feel free to send me your, um, theories.
Sorry for the technical snafu! More live lunacy tomorrow. No more spooky stuff, promise.
