You know what’s funny…I like Tuesdays this year because my kids get pizza on Tuesdays which means I don’t have to make lunches and they have a lunch to look forward to: it’s a win win. Maybe that’s the secret - Pizza lol because without it Tuesdays would really suck.

Also - I have a cousin who lives in Australia and I’m always telling my kids she lives in the future. And really for them it’s Wednesday already. And if they got through Tuesday then we all can. :)

Got to love the 7 year old mind.

Also, just for conversation's sake my worldly experience is such that it seems there's some truth to the fact that many of us actually genuinely have a day of the week where things just don't work out well. Consistently and weekly. I've heard them referred to has "enemy" days. It's the day of the week to, if you are the sort of person who pays attention to all kinds of little messages the body sends all the time, note where and what seems to be not quite right, or do-able. Not the day, for instance, to start something new. Not the day to take on a difficult task.

Frank may just have a very early and clearly well defined sense of what some people take a lifetime to discover. 🤗

NO WAY. Trudy this is fascinating. My father hated Wednesdays actually, for a whole bunch of little and big reasons. Enemy days. Off to fall down a rabbit hole!

What a wonderful boy! Cosmic. I laughed out loud when you said you were looking for your socks. What a wonder it is to be a parent. Monday Monday was a good song back in my long ago, although it didn't have a lot of lyrics.

Thanks for your writing. How is Solly doing. I liked and remembered the article his father wrote a while back about soccer in Liverpool. All the moments in life.

This is such a beautiful picture of 'quality time'! I don't care whether you made some of this up or not, as the dialogue is familiar enough to ring true. My three sons, even now they are all over forty, constantly flummox my thinking in ways that remind me of the many different observations that can come from our singular world. And 'out of the mouths of babes' do indeed spring such wonders! My eldest (when he was your Frank's age) once sat me down to have his now family famous 'Lego Talk' during which he described, as if doing a university thesis dissertation, the Book of Genesis as a plastic block construction; green flat base plate being earth on which God assembled his creatures, two by two and beyond!. Alas, no Iphone was available to record what transpired, but he & I still tell it to whoever will listen.

Frank seems very "you" in the way he analyses his days. I'm more used to introspective children (now brilliant adults) breaking things down at bedtime. This early morning stuff takes a whole different energy. Good luck. On the bright side, maybe this Tuesday thing is an opportunity, an opening, to create a "Tuesday experience". An easy food day, "YouTube Tuesday" or something that will wash off the grey sludge. You know, like bagpipe lessons. ; )

If you weren’t tired you wouldn’t be giving all you’ve got which in the end is the absolute best one can do. Love being a mom and nana now to boys, many boys and men. But raising them often required analysis. Always active listening and looking for the reachable moment.

I was surprised by how early my boys personalities truly and fully revealed themselves. I have seen that little bit of anxiety that motivates and satisfies Frank on the usefulness of a day blossom into phenomenal qualities. Those days when the spelling is due are a chance to prove himself, to do well, to please you and to be recognized for it. Oh joy! To be 7 years old.

Frank clearly has a flair for language and and seems to be demonstrating strong dramatic tendencies.

So be exhausted and smile, as I’m sure you do. You are so blessed!
