wonderful cogent human comments. I cam upon a somewhat old t testament religious idea for what you are going through and have come out of - it's called righteous suffering - as in Job. It's great that like Job all is working for the best for you - I'm happy for that. You've got a great sensitive brain.
I was going to say this sounds alot like the CPT program I did for my PTSD. It really is rather brilliant to be able to differentiate between the feelings and emotions that keep you in your stuck point. (Ie this keeps happening to me.)
Very practical and good advice for our current time.
Oh I love this, and yes. I practice this too. ❤️❤️
Ahhh thanks Lily

I am looking so forward to the second part of this essay.
I must learn this technique. I am dealing with numerous challenges at this time.
In fact, I look forward to all your essays. Interesting reading. I always learn or find a “takeaway”.
Thank you. Susan.
"...learn the difference between your thoughts and your feelings..." I'd say that is rule number one.
After a week of self-reflecting turmoil, I too see a survival strategy. Thanks for sharing yours (I await part 2)

Appreciated, by a sometimes catastrophic thinker
